Preparation:
- Prepare sushi rice according to instructions and allow to cool.
- Cover nori sheets with rice and fill as desired (e.g. with avocado, cucumber, salmon).
- Roll up, cut into pieces and sprinkle with black sesame seeds.
- Serve with soy sauce and wasabi.
🥗 Asian cucumber salad with sesame oil and black sesame
Preparation:
- Cut cucumber into thin slices.
- Mix with 1 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tsp sesame oil, 1 tsp soy sauce and a little sugar.
- Sprinkle with black sesame seeds and serve cold.
🍪 Asian sesame cookies
Preparation:
- Knead 100 g flour, 50 g sugar, 80 g butter, 1 egg yolk and 2 tablespoons black sesame seeds into a dough.
- Form small balls, press flat and place on a baking tray.
- Bake at 180 °C for about 12 minutes until golden brown.
